What you'll see
Tribe Gate is Havelock's gentlest reef — a sunlit coral garden in 8–12m of clear, warm water (27–30°C, visibility often 15–25m). Clownfish dart through their anemones, parrotfish crunch the coral, and butterflyfish drift past in pairs. You'll likely meet a green sea turtle grazing the seagrass, while shoals of electric-blue chromis part around you. Shallow, calm and alive — the reason most first dives in Havelock happen right here.
Who it's for
The same easy reef as our Taster dive, just with ten more minutes in the water — useful once your breathing settles and you actually want to look around rather than just get through it.

Arrive & meet
Pickup within 5km of the jetty, then straight to meeting your instructor — no waiting around.
Safety brief
The same short, plain-English run-through as our Taster dive: nothing extra to learn, nothing to worry about.
